2025 Events & Activities
The following is a list of themed weekends and special events planned for the 2025 season.
There's plenty of fun, interesting (and often educational... but we won't tell!)
things to do and see at the campground. Join the fun from opening day in May through closing in October.
Our family friendly activities make every weekend special at Owls Landing Campground.
Use the schedule below as a guide to plan your weekends to camp with the assurance that
there will always be something fun to do!

| Memorial Day Weekend
First long weekend of the camping season! On Saturday May 24th - Music with "Hemp Cats" in the Pavilion starting @ 7pm (campers & registered guests ONLY).

| July 4th Celebration Weekend
On Friday July 4th, we celebrate our Nation's birthday. Includes a campground BBQ, Annual Corn Hole tournament, fireworks, golf cart parade and more! Rain Date: July 5th |
July 19th | Karaoke Night with DJ Luke Skyrocker
Get ready to sing and dance to your favorite songs with our favorite DJ! |

| August 2nd | Axe Throwing
Unleash your inner warrior! Whether you're a seasoned axe thrower or total beginner, this is your chance to experience the adrenaline rush of hitting the bullseye!

August 18th | BINGO Night!
Cash Bingo for adults only (18+) in the Pavilion. Card sales begin at 7:00pm, first ball called at 7:30pm!

August 18th | Candy Bar Bingo
For kids 17 years old and under. Please bring 1 candy bar for your entrance fee. Win prizes from our camp store, and the last game of the night is for a Candy Jackpot! 7:00pm in the Community Room.

August 23rd | Live Music!
Join us in the Pavilion at 7:00pm for an evening of music and dancing with Band Kamp!

| Labor Day Weekend

September 20th
| Pig Roast, Cornhole & Chili Cook-Off!
Cornhole tournament begins at 12:00 noon (weather permitting) sign-up sheets in the camp store. Chili contest entries should be in the Pavilion by 2:30pm. Chili tasting and voting begins at 3:00pm. Pig Roast at 4:00pm. Please bring a side dish or dessert! |

| Columbus Day Weekend
Last long weekend of the season; last week for reservations. |
October 11th
| Site Decorating Contest
Decorate your campsite with a Halloween feel for a chance to win a prize! Be scary, be funny, be cute but most of all be creative. |
October 18th
| Annual Halloween Costume Party
Our final activity for the season! Trick-Or-Treat for the kids on Saturday evening 6-7 followed by our annual Costume Party 7-10. Dance the night away in your Halloween costume. |
